How will I feel safe?

Equilíbrio is a co-created environment. This means your presence helps shape the space and overall experience— safety is not a service, it is a shared responsibility. We trust in the collective intelligence and attentiveness of everyone attending to uphold a respectful, safe, and nurturing space for all.

If something feels off, say something. Please approach any team member immediately if you witness or experience:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour

  • Emotional distress or conflict

  • Medical concerns

  • Fire risks or substance misuse

Fire Safety

Open flames are strictly prohibited. We are gathering during one of the dryiest times of the year and the land is extremely vulnerable to fire. Open flames include campfires, candles, incense, and gas stoves. Always use a portable, reusable ashtray, and never discard cigarette butts on the ground. Be mindful of sparks from lighters, metal, or electronics. Fire extinguishers will be located at the main house, camping area, and stage—please familiarise yourself with their locations.

Glass is highly inflammable and glass containers are strictly forbidden for that reason, as well as to avoid the possibility of broken glass on festival grounds.

First Aid & Emergencies

A First Aid tent will be located near the main house as well as an additional First Aid kit at camping. The nearest hospital is a 40-minute drive away, so please come prepared with any personal medication or supplies.

Substance Awareness

We ask everyone to tune into balance—this is Equilíbrio, after all. Friday and Sunday are intended to be substance-free days, to emphasise presence and clarity. If you do choose to consume, please do so consciously. Know your limits, be self-reliant, and look after one another.

Zero Tolerance

There is no space for harassment, insult, discrimination, or destructive behaviour. The team reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the site immediately if their actions harm others or the communal experience.

How are we respecting the land?

Nature is not the backdrop; it is the first and most sacred art installation at Equilíbrio. Oooohhhmmm land spans 400 hectares of wild beauty. We are its grateful stewards and invite you to join us in that responsibility.

Leave No Trace

There will be bins in communal areas, but we encourage everyone to carry a ziplock bag or similar for personal rubbish. Bring a portable ashtray. Please pick up any litter you see, even if it’s not yours—it’s all of ours.

Cameras & Phones

To honour the spirit of presence and respect everyone’s experience, we kindly ask that no cameras or phones be used on the dance floor or during performances. This space is about presence, connection, freedom, and immersion—not capturing moments for later. Please be mindful and help us maintain a safe, judgement-free environment where everyone can fully express themselves without feeling observed. If you wish to take photos or videos, we encourage you to do so before or after sessions, away from the dance floor.

We will have an official media team capturing photos and videos throughout the event, and sharing them with the community shortly after the Festival.
